Product Introduction
Diethyltoluenediamine, commonly known as DETDA or E-100, is a high-performance aromatic diamine curing agent and chain extender with CAS number 68479-98-1. Its molecular formula is C11H18N2, with a molecular weight of 178.28 g/mol. Our industrial grade product appears as light yellow to amber transparent liquid, with strict control over isomer ratio, diamine content, amine value, TDA content and moisture content.
As a highly effective polyurethane elastomer chain extender, DETDA E-100 features significantly faster reaction kinetics than traditional curing agents: it reacts several times faster than DMTDA and approximately 30 times faster than MOCA. This enables short demold times, high initial strength and excellent productivity in manufacturing processes. It is particularly suitable for RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) and SPUA (Spray Polyurea Elastomer) applications, and is also widely used as a curing agent for polyurethane and epoxy resins, an antioxidant for industrial oils and lubricants, and an intermediate in organic synthesis.
Our DETDA E-100 is produced with advanced synthesis and purification technology, with full batch traceability and complete supporting quality documents. It is performance-equivalent to leading global brands and can be directly substituted in existing formulations. We can provide customized specifications to meet specific customer requirements and ensure long-term stable bulk supply for global manufacturers and distributors.
