Resorcinol is a white crystalline phenolic compound widely used as a crosslinker in resin systems, an intermediate in dye and pharmaceutical synthesis, and as an FDA-approved skin-lightening agent in cosmetic formulations.

Applications

Resins & Adhesives: Crosslinker in phenolic and epoxy resins for enhanced strength and heat resistance.
Pharmaceuticals: Intermediate in antihistamines, antiseptics and antiviral agents.
