Dimethylsilicone oil is widely used as a release agent for plastics, rubber and other materials, with excellent high and low temperature resistance, light transmission, electrical properties, hydrophobicity, moisture resistance and chemical stability. Generally used for high temperature operation of large molding, such as phenolic resin, unsaturated polyester laminate. In order to meet the needs of different uses, silicone oil is usually processed into the form of solution, emulsion and silicon paste, and its composition and use are as follows. Solution of silicone oil dissolved in carbon tetroxide, toluene or xylene and other organic solvents to prepare, concentrated into generally 0.5 ~ 2%. Suitable for use at 60 ~ 110℃. The emulsion is made of silicone oil, milk chemicalizer and water, and diluted to 0.5-2.0% when used. It is suitable for processing occasions above 120℃ and products with complex shapes. Silicon paste is made from silicon oil and ultrafine silicon dioxide. Good heat resistance, suitable for large surface area, smooth and simple shape products. Dimethicone (simethicone) is a polymer of dimethicone, and there are different grades of products with different degrees of polymerization. As a condensing agent for dropping pills, dimethicone with appropriate relative density and viscosity should generally be selected according to the properties of the matrix. All water-soluble substrates are well formed in them, but at a higher cost.
