DIC North Japan Polyma Co., Ltd.'s urea melamine resin product prices increase again.
DIC Kita Nihon Polima Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Zao-cho, Karita-gun, Miyagi Prefecture, President: Koji Tsuruya), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DIC Co., Ltd. (President and Executive Officer: Kaoru Ino), has prices for phenolic resin and urea melamine resin products. Has been decided to be revised from the delivery on June 15, 2022.
The price was revised in March of this year, but the price of crude oil and the prices of benzene, phenol, methanol, urea, melamine, etc., which are the main raw materials, have been soaring since April. In addition, utilities, distribution costs, and container prices have risen, and the environment surrounding resin raw materials has become even more severe. We continue to absorb by self-help efforts, but it is extremely difficult to absorb the recent cost increase. We decided that price revisions would be unavoidable in order to ensure stable supply and business continuity in the future, and decided to revise them again.
